Gastroduodenoscopy
- Is a diagnostic endoscopic procedure that visualizes the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract up to the duodenum
Indications
- Unexplained anaemia
- Upper gastrointestinal bleeding as evidenced by hematemesis or malaria
- Persistent dyspepsia
- Heartburn and chronic acid reflux
- Persistent vomiting
- Difficulty in swallowing
- Painful swallowing
Colonoscopy
- Colonoscopy is the endoscopic examination of the colon and the distal part of the small bowel with a CCD camera or a fiber optic camera on a flexible tube through the anus. It may provide a visual diagnosis and grants the opportunity for biopsy or removal of suspected lesions.

Sigmoidoscopy
Flexible sigmoidoscopy enables the physician to look at the large intestine from the rectum through the last part of the colon called the sigmoid.
